Though he holds a place among the Twelve Olympians, he has never been beloved, not by mortals, nor by the gods who call him kin (not even his parents, zeus & Hera).Despised for his savagery and temper, Ares represents the raw, chaotic side of warfare, the carnage, the madness, the unrestrained passion for victory. Yet beneath that ferocity lies an undeniable strength, a divine courage that commands respect even from those who scorn him.He does not march alone, however. His sister, Eris (Strife) walks beside him, while his sons (by Aphrodite), Phobos and Deimos, trail in his shadow, spreading Panic and Rout wherever he treads.
